Vieira could be fit for Le Bleus’ opener!

It seems the injury to French and Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira was a little bit exaggerated. Coach Raymond Domenech spoke to the FFF website about the injury, saying, “He ran this morning [Thursday] and the advances being made are all we can hope for. There will come a time when a decision will have to be made.”
French midfielder and Captain Patrick Vieira is reported to be responding well to treatment for the thigh muscle strain he sustained in training ahead of their friendly against Paraguay. Although Vieira remains a heavy doubt for the French opener against Romania on Monday the French are hoping he will be ready to lead them out.
