Soccer Drills; Soccer Thrills

In every game there is a required drill or maneuvers. Soccer has its own sets of soccer drills too. Techniques that should be mastered first before success in the playing field could be attained. Each maneuver leads to becoming a champion so don’t ever try to disregard it.

Each type of drill here is described thoroughly, just follow some simple instructions and you’re armed for the battle.

The first maneuver here is called 4 Back Strategy or Movement. It is used for defense.
In other instances, this is called a triangle defense wherein the player of the defending team closest to the attacker/forward of the offensive team will take an action to defend, followed by three team members who will position themselves at the back of the first defensive player, forming a defensive triangle. Another wick side defender would narrow the field by getting nearer to the defensive triangle.

Next tactic is a Simple Circuit Drill.
Each player will be given a soccer ball. They will then dribble in the region of the protracted obstacle starting with the right foot. Do the same process again this time using the left foot. Repeat the method for the third time using both feet now.

Third is Circuit Relay Drill
Let the players form a line. Put an obstacle post in front of them within a desired distance depending on the player’s age. The relay will start from the first player which will dribble the soccer ball towards the obstacle circling it and back to the line where the ball will then be given to the next player in line. Let the players dribble the ball fast while keeping it near their feet.

For professional players, these soccer drills may seem to be an easy task but a leg-breaking one for beginners. No matter if you are a professional or a novice, practice is still the key to success.
