Ferdinand Still On Hold

December 27, 2009 by Richard · Leave a Comment

Rio Ferdinand had a shot to ease his long time back complaint.  He has been out of active play since the end of October after deciding he could not stand it much longer.  And Sir Alex Ferguson had fears of a long-term absence.  Ferdinand has 13 games missed, plus a defeat to Brazil in Qatar.

There is a worry that there is still no sign of a near recovery.  While Ferguson is saying that it should not be long before the Ferdinand is coming back in action, he also said that there is still no light at the end of the line and admitted there is still no timescale on when he will eventually be playing again.  He was given an injection just over two weeks ago.   We have to let it settle for a week then he return for the gym work and do more core work this is what Ferguson said.  We are just praying that the pain leaves.

rio-ferdinand1Rio Ferdinand the Manchester United footballer took a family trip to North Wales on a £400 caravan break.  Not utilizing a more expensive holidays to Barbados, St Tropez or New York.  The international star brought his family to Presthaven Sands.   This was disclosed by the Haven Holidays who hosted the family at the site in Prestatyn.  But they took a top-of-the-range caravan with a price of £400 for the weekend.

It was uncertain if the player who was injured that time so he is free from playing at the weekend.  He had a great time as he was surround by young kids on the park but was good enough to entertain and sign autographs. He then tried out the go-kart track said the Haven spokeswoman.  Maybe he realized that going with two young children, persons like to get their money’s worth in family holidays and possibly, children are not enthusiastic by five star hotels and would rather play football, go-kart and dancing.

Money Is Not Everything

rio-ferdinandRio Ferdinand cautioned Manchester City that even after doing a spending spree last summer is not a guarantee of winning the championship.  The Manchester United team has spent over £100million in the last few months as they wanted to establish a very strong force.  The owners of the team clearly stated that they are ready to bankroll any offensive on the European dominance and Premier League but expect to regain their investment in the fastest possible time.

Ferdinand says victory may not arrive as quickly as they expect.  There is only one Manchester that will dominate and that the City is not that big for two teams.  The City has supporters that want them to win, now, maybe they expect to win due to their big investment.   But money is not a guarantee that they will succeed.   This team is starting from the opposite direction, only time can tell how triumphant they will be. Good luck on their dream, but hopefully we will be the one winning.
