There are many famous soccer players known internationally not because of numerous products they endorsed or popular celebrities they married like Posh Spice. Pele, who is Edson Arantes do Nascimento in real life, is regarded as the greatest footballer in Brazil (native country). At 17, he already won his first World Cup and FIFA declared him as their football ambassador of the world, among his many other achievements. In Bulgaria, they also have Hristo Stoichkov as the most successful soccer player of all time. He was recognized internationally after four consecutive winnings at the Spanish Primera Division.
Other famous soccer players grew up in poverty just like Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima (Brazil). Some started it as a hobby or mere passion: Luis Figo (Portugal), Pavel Nedved (Czech Republic), Raul Gonzalez Blanco (Spain), Zinedine Zidane (France), Diego Maradona (Argentina), and Trifon Ivanov (Bulgaria).

One of the legends of football is known simply as Pele. He has been acclaimed as the Athlete of the Century by the International Olympic Committee and is a national hero in his native Brazil. From his humble beginnings playing for Santos in Brazil, his playing career has been marked with excellent dribbling and passing, his powerful shot, his heading skill and above all his prolific goal scoring prowess.
Though Pele has retired in 1977, he is still the standard that Brazilian players are measured against. He has been acclaimed as the “King of Football”, the all time leading scorer on the Brazilian national football team and is the only footballer to be part of three World Cup winning teams. This is why Pele is still one of the icons of sports and with his current role as the worldwide ambassador for football; he is the symbol of greatness from the humblest of beginnings.

Pele of Brazil is the best soccer player in the world, though the world has come to know some of the other greats of the game. To play like the way he did is the dream of the millions and millions of soccer followers.
Soccer is one of the few sports which can attract huge number viewers. The world has been enjoying the thrills of the game played by the thousands of soccer athletes from various countries.
Aside from Pele, there have been a lot of soccer legends who came to entertain the world. Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Diego Maradona are some of the greats who through the years have been hailed as soccer legends. Their notable performance on the field made them an inspiration to a lot of soccer enthusiasts. They are considered the symbols of the sport.
To be the best soccer player in the world requires a lot of effort, patience, and good game attitude. Soccer is not an easy game to play and takes a great deal of practice, a whole bunch of training and serious hard work. It takes a good deal of endurance to stick with your training regimen and to be more determined when things get tougher. Conditioned body and mind therefore is required to hone specific soccer skills.

National Soccer Hall of Fame is the ultimate goal of any soccer player. Being taken into consideration to be put on one’s own hall of fame is such an honorable recognition. The men and women put in the Hall of Fame are the elite players who had made their mark and had accomplished a name of success. These players are the ones that serve as inspiration to current and future soccer players.
There are so many soccer players who have gone and played the sport of soccer but only few deserves to be put in their own National Soccer Hall of Fame. Around the world, there are such players who have gained international superstardom such as Diego Maradona and Pele. These players are the ones who really made it big not only locally but also internationally. They are the one’s who created impact around the world and have helped soccer become to what it is today.
Soccer has evolved through the years and many have embraced the sport. Today, it’s much harder to be counted to the Hall of Fame because there are just so many players to choose from. To be in it, one must be unique and can establish his/her greatness. More often than not, the players who get chosen to the Hall of Fame are the ones who have been successful locally and also have done great during international competitions, especially when representing their own countries. Now, it is the challenges for players to achieve this feat and be named as one of the elite, the best of the best.

Countries spend a lot of their money in designing and constructing architectural marvels of soccer stadiums. As seen in international events, each country that hosts tournaments produce world-class, state of the art and remarkable stadiums just to apply their love for the sport.
So what about soccer? Soccer has become the most recognized sport due to its international following and that most of the generation of today grew up experiencing and watching soccer.
