Hleb disappointed with his performance

Alexander Hleb has said that he is a little disappointed at his own performances at Barcelona this season. Hleb moved to Barcelona from Arsenal last summer, and he has failed to hit the heights of his Arsenal days.
“I am not doing as well as I would like, evidently I would like to play more and to play better. I am not happy with myself,” he said.
Hleb’s early days have been compared to those of Thierry Henry, who also moved from Arsenal to Barca in 2007. Henry failed to settle in his first season, but has been playing much better this time around. The winger acknowledged his team-mates problems today, and said he does need some confidence at the moment.
“Thierry is playing very well now, he is scoring goals, and that is important for him and for the team. It has not been easy for him either though, because he is playing in a different position to that which he played at Arsenal,” he declared.

Arsenal and Belarusian midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb has publicly criticized teammate Cesc Fabregas and coach Arsene Wenger in wake of the recent transfer rumors linking him to a move to Barcelona. The 27 year old has stated that Wenger has used him mainly on the wings, even though he prefers to play through the centre.
Hleb also contends that Fabregas is selfish and stated “When we get scoring opportunities, Fabregas is much more selfish than me.” The midfielder is slated to join Barcelona in wake of the departure of Deco and the possibility of Brazilian Ronaldinho’s exit.
The Belarusian international also stated that he will be leaving the Gunners and further stated his intentions as it relates to a club by saying “I don’t know where I’ll be next season but I’d prefer Barcelona. It is being negotiated and, hopefully, will be decided soon.”
