The Teams who Advances to the Euro 2008 Semi-Finals

Euro 2008 Semi-Finals survivors are Germany, Turkey, Russia and Spain. The match will be Germany versus Turkey which will take place in Basel, Switzerland on Wednesday and Russia versus Spain which will be held in Vienna this Thursday.

There are much awaited surprises and delights to be expected in this tournament. Germany versus Turkey will surely be a tough fight. In 2006, most people would prove the smiles and hard work of the Turkish, scratching to send money to their loved ones.

Germany is expecting this possible victory from Turkey to be an addition to their long-running achievement record in huge tournaments. Germany in 2006 is an outsider and achieved the third spot through eager national support. Furthermore, the team is not considering holding back its old standards. They don’t like to quit and Germans are faithful in world sports.

Turkey on the other hand won over Czech Republic and Croatia and is now preparing its third goalkeeper for the upcoming event. The Turkish are waiting for another miracle in this tournament to happen.

The second set of Euro 2008 semi-finals teams are Russia and Spain. Russia is continuously improving and getting better in every match. The Russians are playing inspired soccer. It is believed that the defense of the Russians is not that difficult for Spain to handle.

Spain compared to the previous years is showing more determination to win this tournament. The last time, Spain outlasted Italy while the latter is trying to wreck the Spain’s offense. The move results to shirt-gabbing, diving, foot-stomping and artificial heart attack. Spain was scoreless for 120 minutes due to the move of Italy. Luckily, Spain won its victory through style.
