Messi for Ronaldo

Manchester United is being urged by former Manchester United youth team coach Eric Harrison to replace Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo with the Argentine and Barcelona genius Lionel Messi.

This comes in wake of the recent reports that has strongly linked the Manchester United winger to the the La Liga champions. Harrison who is responsible for nurturing players like Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs insists that the only player that could replace Ronaldo is Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and further stated that it is quite unlikely that the club will be willing to sell him.

Harrison argues that since Ronaldo’s move is emminent, then Sir Alex Ferguson should start looking for someone to relace him and concentrate on the youth system to rebuild the team like he alsways has when he loses a major player.
