Ancelotti Chelsea boss still believes his team is still on the right track to win the title of the English Premier League in the face of their alarming mid-season shake. The Blues just managed to win only one of their last five league games. And only one in seven in all competitions that followed yesterday’s 0 – 0 draw at in-form Birmingham. With Manchester United the defending champions coming in at second place.
Ancelotti’s team faces a tough match versus local rivals Fulham tomorrow under stress to take three points prior to the departure of their three key players going to the CAF African Cup of Nations. But their coach is firm that his team’s current set up is not a big problem. This is not our best showing; one win in seven outings is not good, he admitted. But he does not see a big problem. We do have a few problems since we have two players out who are very good and we are not constantly playing well.

It ended being another day of frustration for Italian Carlo Ancelotti as Chelsea suffered a draw against Birmingham. This is a result that left the highest pointer with just one win from seven matches in all matches. While Liverpool moved closer to within five striking points of a top four finish. Winning 2-0 over under pressured Wolves at Anfield, Steven Gerrard their captain and Yossi Benayoun scoring after the visitors Stephen Ward stand in left back had been sent-off because of two bookable offences.
Meanwhile Tottenham’s bid to make it to the top four was stalled in a 0 – 0 draw away to Fulham their capital rival. West Ham found their way out of the bottom zone with a 2-0 win over the bottom dweller club Portsmouth via the Alessandro Diamanti penalty and Radoslav Kovacs’ goal. In another match, the Lancashire game between Bolton against Burnley and Blackburn versus Wigan both ended in 1-1 draws same thing with Everton’s match away to Sunderland.

Carlo Ancelotti, the boss of Chelsea does not have psychological battle in his agenda. What he is eyeing for is the Premier League championship. He is aware of what happened between Manchester and Liverpool coaches and their word wars while both are fighting it out for the finals. He also did it against Inter last season. But he does not want it to happen again in England for this season.
He even said that he respects all the managers in the Prime League but does not believe in the battle of the minds and it happens every season around the world. What he really wants to do is set the mind of the team to get ready against its opponents. He also made a warning to all the teams. They want to win the Champions League or Premier League and best if it is both. He said that it will be hard but they will do their best to do it.

England national team manager Fabio Capello is expecting Milan to win this year’s Scudetto and thinks that Brazilian Ronaldinho has found the perfect environment for him to make a career comeback following his departure from Barcelona.
The upcoming Serie A season promises to be very interesting with four to five teams in with a good chance of winning the Scudetto, however Capello thinks that AC Milan are this season’s favorites. The English manager stated that “Ronaldinho has found the ideal environment to be reborn,” said Capello.
“Now it is Milan for the Scudetto. Fiorentina are not yet ready, but they are the team who intrigue me most and they can finish near the top of the league.
“Juve have good balance, are strong in all departments, and Poulsen is a good addition.
“Totti has reason to say that Roma need some more acquisitions. Mutu would have been perfect.
“The player who could explode this season is Cassano, but it depends on him. We must give time to Mourinho. With arrival of Ronaldinho AC Milan and Carlo Ancelotti are in with a great chance at the Serie A title but can they rise to the occasion?

After much speculation and gossip the Togolese striker whose services were being sought by Barcelona of Spain and the Italian super club AC Milan seems destined to sign a deal with the the Rossoneri for a tidy sum of €40m.
Having been offered €29m by Barcelona and €35m by AC Milan, Arsenal made it clear that Emanuel Adebayor would not be leaving the Emirates for anything less than what they asked for. But should AC Milan’s Adriano Galliani come up with the extra €5m, Arsenal could see the departure of the towering forward.
Adebayor who scored against the Rossoneri in Arsenal’s 2-0 win at the San Siro earlier this year in the champions league struck the eyes of Carlo Ancelotti who was quoted as saying that “Adebayor was his main priority and will be moving to the San Siro even if his club had to break the bank”.
It is also rumored that the striker has begged Arsenal to sell him to the Serie A club.
