Swansea Works Over Portsmouth 2-0

FA Cup holders Portsmouth were destined to an disturbing fourth round depart as Championship club Swansea won 2-0 at Fratton Park on Saturday.
Portsmouth a victory with the Cardiff was a promising Portsmouth’s first FA Cup triumph since 1939. Tony Adam’s side did not display the playing of FA Cup this game.
The french-cup was out played, out witted by Swansea. In the first half winger Nathan Dyer, on-loan from Southampton struck in the first half.
With the play on the field at all times, the Swansea had no problem with keeping Portsmouth out of the running for the cup.
Tony Adam’s team Portsmouth was careless playing with being caught on the counter at half time. Adams had Kanu and Hermann Hreidarsson to help with the game to turn the game to their advantage.
In the last minutes Portsmouth tried to come back with the win with falling short with tip offs on the goals.

Eddie Johnson Waits For His Goal

Winning streak with an average of two goals in each game, Cardiff has a 10-winning streak going for the team. As Cardiff moves up the ladder toward the Cup competition, Eddie Johnson, Cardiff striker is waiting patience for his first goal.

Johnson was reported to say he was happy to be with eddie-johnsonand love the team, except for a couple of years has been waiting for his goal. He did mention he did have a chance however did not pull the kick off in the net.

Fans and others are looking at Johnson and saying he does not look like he has settle in yet with the team. Or maybe Johnson cannot settle with Cardiff’

Arsenal 0 – 0 Cardiff City

42416_news1Arsenal failed to score a single goal against Cardiff as they settled for a draw on Sunday evening. If there was any team that created more chances and looked to win it was Cardiff.

Wenger brought five changes in the team. It was Bendtner, Ramsey, Song, Gibbs and keeper Fabianski who started for the team. Bendtner missed as easy header while Van Persie also failed to convert few chances.

Cardiff City almost secured a victory have the last free-kick by McCormack been converted into a goal. Th tow sides now meet in a reply but this time at the Emirates. Wenger praised Cardiff for their performance and he said that all the credits go to them for giving a good display against the gunners. Cardiff were defeated in the FA Cup final last season and they are undefeated in eleven games uptil now. Arsenal on the other hand has got its form back and is also undefeated in last eight games.
