Barcelona denies Robinho interest

Barcelona has dismissed reports that they are interested in Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Robinho. This comes in light of the recent reports that the club is looking to make a mega bid for the Brazilian following the departure of fellow Brazilian Ronaldinho to AC Milan.

Club director Rafael Yuste has stated that “Every player on the market is of interest to us, but Robinho is not on the market so there is nothing more to say.” Both clubs are said to have an unwritten agreement not to sign each others players. With the departure of the midfield maestro Barcelona is looking to sign a big name to the Camp Nou.

With conflicting reports coming from Spain about the Brazilian’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu and the Calderón denying that the player is unhappy at the club, one thing is for sure Robinho won’t be replacing Ronaldinho at Barcelona.
