Soccer Girls vs. Soccer Boys
July 24, 2008 by Esmalagu
Would you like to have soccer girls in your team? Does it really matter? Will it affect the entirety of the game? Is it femininity or attitudes of the player that will influence the sport?
Equality must be imminent at all times and soccer girls do not have the excuse out of it. For one to play soccer gender is not a definitive question yet the player must learn to appreciate the game. Soccer offers an opportunity for genuine equality. Its ability is not predominantly strength-dominated. Timing is also a vital element and not pure strength; for example, in kicking a ball hard or far.
Attitude is the main and true difference between sexes. Woman soccer players are usually inclined to have a better grasp of passing soccer, while male soccer athletes typically dribble rather than pass. Girls must claim their identity as soccer players without highlighting the idea of being GIRLS soccer players.
In soccer, passing the ball is very much encouraged and very vital. Having female soccer players is not a disadvantage on the team, never. Coaches say that girls are commonly logical and can analyze the field better while soccer boys may just accept and take what a coach utters at face value. Emotional values and differences should be watched closely. Players must insist and affirm on equal treatment and conditions. Coaches should be consistent on both parties.
To become a successful player judging is never reflected on one’s gender rather the ability to stand out and surpass the challenge of the game. Either of the two sexes could play at their best.
