Shaolin Soccer

Shaolin Soccer is a 2001 comedy film from Hong Kong. It was directed and co-written by Stephen Chow incidentally is also the lead start. A former monk from Shaolin reunites his five brothers after years when their master’s died. They apply their martial arts skills to play soccer and teach Shaolin Kung Fu to the masses. Sing his name in the movie is a Shaolin kung fu master who’s goal is to promote the practical benefits and the spiritual aspects of the martial arts to the modern world. He made experiments to inform the world about his martial art.
Using song and dance routines to no avail. But he met a soccer star who had a bad reputation of selling the game. But he was mobbed by the fans and was made to retire. Now the story starts. A sequel was made last 2008 by the same producer but a different star. It was titled Shaolin Girl.
