Quaresma for Inter Milan

FC Porto and Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma has agreed to a deal with Inter Milan for a tidy sum of €35 million. The skillful winger has been selected as the long term replacement for the aging Luis Figo.
Quaresma has repeatedly stated that he wish to pursue a new challenge suggesting that he is willing to leave FC Porto.
After intense negotiations the Portuguese international agreed to the contractual terms laid down by Inter Milan and will travel to Milan early next week to do a medical. Quaresma is the second big signing for Inter Milan following their acquisition of the English international Frank Lampard.
Quaresma will be hoping to put his disappointing Euro 2008 showing at the back of his mind when the new season begins.
