March 1, 2010 by Richard
Fans from North America as of February 2010 bought more tickets for the 2010 Fifa World Cup than any other supporters from any country excepting hosts South Africa and third are the English fans. This group will expect a full house.
England is hoping for its second win in the World Cup. Under Fabio Capello their coach they have shown excellent form and England has won about 70 percent of its matches. They have dominated their qualifying group with a nine out of ten score. Their record in 2009 was seven victories, three defeats and a draw.
USA has faced England in 1950 edition of the World Cup. It was the first time England contested match. Americans defeated England 1-0. Just in the recent Fifa Confederations Cup 2009, they proved that they can upset even the best. In the semi-finals they fought Spain, world number one and beat them 2-0 to reach the final. Game consistency is their biggest problem.
Algeria downed Egypt who is the winner of the last three African Cup of Nations titles. The North Africans got an excellent 2009 showing. Beginning at rank 64th by Fifa and even dropped at 72nd in April and May, but bounced back at 46 by the end of the year.
Slovenia qualified only once in 1998 for the World Cup. They defeated Russia in a play off home and away to qualify in South Africa. In 2009 they had five wins, four losses and one draw. Given the data, you decide Who Will Advance from Group C in World Cup 2010.
