Lampard not for sale

Chelsea has officially stated that English midfielder Frank Lampard is not for sale. Rumors surrounding the English international has been circulating for months; linking him to a move to Serie A with Inter Milan. Despite a speculated £6-7 million bid for the midfielder, reports are that Chelsea rejected the offer.
The beaten Champions League finalist officially put the transfer talks to rest when they made an official statement on the matter. The club stated “Chelsea Football Club can confirm it has received an official approach from Internazionale to discuss the possible transfer of Frank Lampard. Contrary to reports no financial offer was made.
“Chelsea FC has informed Inter this morning (Tuesday, July
that we will not enter into any discussions regarding the transfer of Frank Lampard.”
In his first press conference newly appointed coach Luiz Felipe Scholari stated that ”I asked him if he was staying at Chelsea and he said ‘yes’, he wants to stay for many years. “I think Lampard will be with us for more than one year.” With That said it appears Lampard will be staying at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season.
