Its official Deco is a Chelsea man

Chelsea have officially signed 30 year old Portuguese midfielder Deco from La Liga giants Barcelona after a very difficult season at the Nou Camp. Deco is the first signing for the new Chelsea coach Luiz Felipe Scholari who coaches Deco at the international level.
The former FC Porto star stated that “I am sure I have come at the right time to do great things and be able to help Chelsea go back to the way it was and come back to being the first one, not only in England but also to win the Champions League that has been their dream for so long.”
It is reported that no fee has formally been agreed upon for the player who signed a 2 year contract to stay at Stamford Bridge until 2010. However, Chelsea is rumoured to be paying £8m (€10m) for the Portuguese midfielder.
