How to kick a soccer ball: Proper Methods of Kicking in Soccer

Want to know how to kick a soccer ball? In the sport soccer, kicking is one of the most important skills you should learn. The most common habit of new players of the sport is to kick the ball with the toe. But this habit is not a good kick and should be corrected as early as possible.
There are certain procedures in order to learn the proper kick in order to correct this habit. Basically there are two kinds of kick which have different techniques.
The first one is called the angle or commonly known as sweet spot kick. This sweet spot is the portion of the foot above the bigger toe. Since this part of the foot has the largest bone, it is the best spot which can provide a strong kick. In order to deliver a good kick using the sweet spot, the foot must touch the ball in a slight angled position. This is the type of kick being commonly used with the sport. This technique is very effective in performing a high ball to a forward team member.
The second is the straight kick which can be delivered by positioning your foot on the ground while letting the ball fall above your foot and then hit the ball with the straight kick. You should hit the ball with the laces area of your foot to have a proper straight kick.
In addition, always maintain the V angle when delivering a kick. Practice this method consciously to be able to adapt on how to kick a soccer ball in a proper way.
