FIFA Chief Calls for More Promotion for 2010 World Cup

October 28, 2008

FIFA’s Chief Sepp Blatter visited South Africa and was happy with the excitement of the Africans for the coming 2010 World Cup. He is also impressed with the work of the local organizers and the progress of the preparation for the big event.

But in his statement he is urging everyone not only people of Africa but everyone to participate in promoting this very special event. He calls for massive campaign for the promotion of the World Cup such posting of banners, posters and giving away flyers.

During his visit to South Africa, he met with ANC President Jacob Zuma, Nelson Mandela and Khanyi Mkhonza for final talks on the status of the preparation for the event.

The meeting has also resulted that tickets will be sold in a cheaper price and will not change no matter what the exchange rate will be. According to reports, the prices for tickets will be $20. This is great news especially to the residents of Africa.

With the price of the ticket, everyone can have the opportunity to witness the event and enjoy.

As far as the promotion is concern, local officials and FIFA promised to help in whatever means they can provide to make the event a success.
