Perhaps in keeping with the theme that was chosen for Euro 2008 and verbalized so eloquently by the French soccer legend Michel Platini who said “Euro 2008 promises drama down to the very last minute”. We’ve all watched in shock and awe the captivating Croats stunned by a Turkish team that many thought would have been on a plane bound for home. Euro 2008 has truly been a revelation, the Turks are still there and they’ve got many thinking they will do what Greece did four years ago in Portugal.

We’ve seen the inability of the French to play quality and creative soccer without the legendary inspirational midfielder and captain Zinedine Zidane, we’ve seen the agility and attacking potency of the youthful Spanish team under the watchful eyes of Luis Aragones and most certainly we’ve seen some scintillating soccer.

So with only a few days to go until the final in Austria and players adrenaline going through the roof, the field awaits; a site of disappointment for some and the field of the inevitable for others. Which team will reveal themselves as Euro 2008 champions? The revelation continues in EURO 2008.
