€30m Plus Gourcuff for Adebayor

Reports coming out of Italy are that AC Milan will sign Emmanuel Adebayor for €30m plus France Under-21 international Yoann Gourcuff as part of the deal. The 24 year old Togolese striker has been the subject of much transfer talks for the last few months and with Arsenal have stated their intention to keep the striker, it seems more certain that the player will be leaving the Emirates.
Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger who is a huge fan of the attacking midfielder, is now likely to accept Milan’s offer. Gourcuff joined Milan in 2006, and isregarded as one of the best young players in Europe. However, the 22-year-old has failed to impress.
AC Milan’s general manager Adriano Galliani is hopeful that the deal will be completed by next Wednesday (July 16).
