Sources have disclosed that Brazilian forward Julio Baptista will join Roma to make way for the arrival of Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo. Roma who have inquired about the Brazilian’s availability; are in desperate need for a striker to add some much needed fire power up front.
The Merengues have shown a keen interest in the winger was currently plays for Manchester United and have made a generous offer to Manchester United but the club has reported turned down the offer insisting that the player is not for sale.
Transfer consultant Ernesto Bronzetti have stated that “Baptista is a player who Roma are interested in but I cannot say whether or not the club will sign him.” “Real are ready to sell the player because they are trying hard for Cristiano Ronaldo.
“In the end, Ronaldo will certainly arrive in Madrid. The Galacticos have too many strikers and so one of them is set to leave. “Baptista wants to leave Real and thus Ronaldo is likely to go to Madrid.”
Among those to influence the Portuguese winger to sign for Real Madrid is Frenchman and former Real Madrid midfield genius Zinedine Zidane.
