The National Soccer Hall of Fame is home to many of the memorabilia of the sport in the United States from the past to present. It was established by some of the early professional and amateur players of the United States. On June 12, 1999, the $30 million museum building was officially opened to the public.
A video wall features videos of actual games played by the famous leagues of America. The museum also features a lot of computer kiosk where visitors can have fun with trivia all about the sport.

• National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association
• National Soccer Coaches Association of America
The National Soccer Hall of Fame does not only preserve and promote the history of the sport in the country but also to honor the outstanding achievements and contributions of many of the American players of the sport. It also showcases and acknowledged the efforts made by coaches, trainers and officials who have helped develop the sport into what it had become now and being enjoyed by millions of American fans.
Since it started, there are around 220 members who have been inducted as Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is being conducted every year and criteria are based on exemplary contribution for the sport.
It is a fact that many people have helped in prospering the sport in the country and deserves to be recognized. It will also encourage more American players to perform better and excel in their chosen field.
Famous women soccer players: The Famous Mia Hamm

One of the famous women soccer players is Mia Hamm, who had been a member of the women’s national team of the United States. During her professional career, she was the only player who scored 158 international goals.
Because of her excellent performance with the sport, she has been recognized twice as FIFA World Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002. She was acknowledged as a role model for women engaged with the sport. She is also included among the 125 best living players of FIFA. Because of her contribution as one of the top players in the country, she was inducted by the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007. Her career with the sport started when she was 15 years old when she joined the U.S. National Team which she was the youngest among all players of the team. At the age of 19, she was able to win the World Cup Championship which makes her the youngest women in America to win the title.
With Hamm’s exemplary kills, she was able to break the international goal record with 108 goals on May 22, 1999 during the match against the Brazilian team held in Orlando.

How to kick a soccer ball: Proper Methods of Kicking in Soccer

Want to know how to kick a soccer ball? In the sport soccer, kicking is one of the most important skills you should learn. The most common habit of new players of the sport is to kick the ball with the toe. But this habit is not a good kick and should be corrected as early as possible.
There are certain procedures in order to learn the proper kick in order to correct this habit. Basically there are two kinds of kick which have different techniques.
The first one is called the angle or commonly known as sweet spot kick. This sweet spot is the portion of the foot above the bigger toe. Since this part of the foot has the largest bone, it is the best spot which can provide a strong kick. In 1946 the first FIFA World Cup trophy is called the Jules Rimet Cup which was named after the founder of World Cup. The trophy was designed by Abel Lafleur who is a French sculptor. Uruguay was the first team to receive the trophy when they won the World Cup in 1930.

The base already consists of nine champions of the World Cup as of year 2006.

Canadian Soccer Association: Achievements of the CSA

The Canadian Soccer Association is responsible in governing soccer organizations including national teams in Canada who participates in international competitions.
