Tough night for the MLS in the CONCACAF Champions League

It was another tough night for the MLS in the CONCACAF Champions League, as FC Dallas and Toronto FC only managed one point combined in their respective matches.
The Texans were especially disappointing, dropping points at home despite having a ton of chances against Group C bottom dwellers Tauro of Panama. The home side looked like they were up for it after Daniel Cruz slotted home just 27 seconds in. Then, for the second straight evening, an MLS side was delayed a clear onsides goal (Robbie Keane’s equalizer for L.A. was wrongfully disallowed last night), when George John’s header was erroneously called back by the linesman.
Moreno equalized from the spot soon afterwards after a rash challenge from Ugo Ihemelu.
While the match in Dallas was hotly contested, Toronto FC were simply run off the pitch by Pumas in a 4-0 defeat.
