Mourinho Not Bothered with the Media

Jose Mourinho, an Inter coach is in Italy for months but is already receiving so much controversy and less respect from the local media of the country. He also discussed about the on going economic crisis which might affect the soccer community.

In an interview, Jose Mourinho claims he is confused why he is not earning the respect of the media even with his achievements over the past years.
But in spite of the situation, Mourinho is not bothered at all. What is important for him is to work hard for the good of the sport soccer even if it will cost him his pay check. He believes that he can do some great things which will later gain the respect of the media.
He understands the culture of the people in the country and he will assure everyone that no matter what the people say about him, it will not stop him in working hard for the good of the soccer community.
In a press statement, Mourinho explains, “I am not an expert, but I understand enough to know that this is a serious matter. I don’t know if there are reasons to be afraid. But I would accept getting less money, if it were for the good of everyone else.”
Guatemala Coach Resigned

Another resignation has occurred with the international soccer community. The team of Guatemala was left without a leader when Ramon Maradriaga resigned from his responsibility. Maradriaga left the team even with a good chance for Guatemala to be qualified for the World Cup.
Guatemala managed to gain five points after they were able to finish five matches which only a semi final match in Group One is remaining. Guatemala has only requires to beat Trinidad and Tobago in order to move forward ahead.
Officials of the Guatemala national soccer association have not yet disclosed on the reason of Maradriaga’s resignation as coach. There has been no decision yet as to who will lead the Guatemala team to complete their chances of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.
Coach Basile of Argentina Resigned

According to Argentina’s national soccer association, Coach of Argentina Alfio Basile has rendered his resignation when they were beaten by Chile last Wednesday.
Chile defeated Argentina with a score of 1-0. This has led Argentina to be behind Paraguay for seven points in a qualifier for the World Cup.
Coach Basile’s career with the national team is closed upon his resignation.
Basile is previously responsible in leading the Argentineans to the 1994 World Cup in the United States but were defeated by the Romanians which have prompted his first resignation with the national team.
He again took the responsibility as a coach following the resignation of Jose Pekerman. Basile managed to reach the team in the finals of the Copa America in 2007. Argentina failed again against Brazil with a final 3-0.
Sergio Batista is being eyed as a replacement since he is part of the winning during the Word Cup in 1986 as well as responsible in leading the team to bring home the gold during the Olympic Games.
Sergio said, “I’m convinced I can coach the senior team. If it’s my turn, I will take it.”
Lionel Messi admits that the team didn’t play well including himself. He expressed that there are many things that the team must put into track.
With Basile’s resignation it has not yet been confirmed who will take charge of the Argentineans team.
