Best Soccer Players

The Best Soccer Player that is an award given by ESPY started in 2000 and 2002, starting 2005 it has been presented to the soccer association player that is prejudged to be the best in the specific calendar year. Among them are the professional and international level with out taking to account of nationality and gender. The award was split in 2002 for the Best Male and Best Female Soccer Player but was rejoined once again in 2005. In the three years of the award, voting came from various fans by means of internet voting, broadcaster, sportswriters retired sports personnel, sports executives and ESPN personalities.
The ESPY Awards Ceremony was carried and conducted in February. The award covered the reflected performance and achievement for the past twelve months to presentation. It was taken from nominees selected by the ESPN Select Nominating Committee and the awards presentation has been presented in June to reveal the achievement made by the Best Soccer Players.
