Agger angry at Liverpool

Liverpool’s Danish centre back Daniel Agger is not happy at the club, as Liverpool have still not offered him a new contract.
AC Milan’s interest in Agger is well known, and the Italian club could well scoop for him this summer, as they could activate a 7 million pound release clause in the current contract.
Agger is annoyed at the way Liverpool have conducted themselves over his contract renewal and there have been no advancement in contract negotiations recently despite manager Rafael Benitez’s warnings to the board that they might lose the defender unless he is offered a better contract. Agger said said: “I met the club [Liverpool] back in November and they told me they would get back to me soon. However, I havent spoken to anyone in three months. It’s irritating and frustrating not to hear anything from them, especially after three months.”
Milan are ready to take advantage of the situation as Agger’s agent Per Steffersen was seen having lunch with their sporting director Ariedo Braida in Milan last week.
